 AA 2 Rosettes Award Winning Restaurant ClareJohn Sheedy - Sheedys Restaurant Co ClareJohn's cooking has been awarded 2 Rosettes from AA for the last 14 years, making Dining an essential part of your stay at Sheedy's Hotel and Restaurant.  During the Summer Season, it is advisable to make a dinner reservation so your table can be guaranteed.


We are also the proud recipients of "Best Breakfast in Munster" from Georgina Campbell. Sheedy's is also recommended by Bridgestone Guide to Ireland, Good Food Guide, Good Hotel Guide Fodors and Michelin.


The New York Times, in an article on The Burren said "I had an entree of Black Sole so exquisite; I wonder if I'll ever eat fish as fresh and good again".

We also offer a menu in our cosy Bar each evening.


Both Restaurant and Bar are open from 6.30pm with last orders for food at 8.45pm. 


Prices have been described by Georgina Campbell Guide as "Cooking at a price that is very fair for quality provided".


For Breakfast, all Jams, Marmalade and Breads are all made by John in our own kitchen.


Sheedy's Restaurant Potager GardenAll Dishes are freshly cooked to order and John sources as many ingredients as possible from local artisan producers. We grow a variety of vegetables and herbs in our Potager Garden.


Our Smoked Salmon is supplied by Burren Smokehouse, who produce award winning salmon here in Lisdoonvarna.

The Garrihy Family from Doolin supply our fish on a daily basis.


Salad Leaves are grown by Colm Fahy in the heart of The Burren.



In season, our organic raspberries and apples are supplied by Christine Sharpe.
