Tea Bread

This is a handy, quick recipe to have and is delicious with homemade marmalade or jam.

225g self raising flour

225g sugar

225g melted butter

2 eggs

225g mixed dried fruit

225g glace cherries

1/4 pint milk

1.preheat the oven to 170C or gas mark 3.  put all the ingredients into a mixing bowl.  beat well until thoroughly mixed, then put mixture into a greased 2 lb loaf tin.  bake for about  1 1/2 hours.  Enjoy.
