Burren Walks

by admin on December 22, 2010

January is also the time of year I try to do extra walking to work off the Christmas excesses.  I am hoping the weather will be kind to me.  I do a lot of walking out at Fanore, but I also go walking on Cliffs of Moher and Doolin.  Fanore Beach is a good walk to do with the Family.  My own favourite is to walk the Cahir Valley, which is also located out on the Coast Road.  The views across the Burren are stunning.  From April onwards, the unique flowers of The Burren will start to make an appearance.  We are offering special walking packages this spring which will include a walk with a local Guide, Shane Connelly.  Shane is a local farmer and knows the area inside out.  If you want to do your own thing, I can provide lots of maps and advice before you head out.
